|The vertical orientation of Stormceptor® makes it ideal for retrofit applications|
It can be a considerable challenge to find the right solution to retrofit an existing site to meet storm water quality effluent discharge requirements. The older the facility, the more potential challenges a designer or owner encounters. In some cases, the owner must excavate an already paved or developed area. Existing utilities and underground structures add to the problem.
In many applications, the StormceptorŽ System from Rinker StormceptorŽ is the solution. Compared to conventional oil and water separators and three-chambered box structures, the vertical orientation of StormceptorŽ allows installation with less disruption to existing utilities. The design of Stormceptor provides an easier fit into an existing piping system by only requiring one inch of fall throughout the structure (three inches for multiple inlets).
